Tromsø¸ Telemedicine and eHealth Conference 2006

The 2006 conference is about the imagination and exploration of probable, preferable and possible futures of society and the role of eHealth and telemedicine in particular. Participants at this conference are invited to present their research and are challenged to share their views on the future of health, society and technology.

What do we imagine the future will be like? Which paths do we choose towards preferable futures? What are the driving forces behind changes and choices? Can we see ourselves in the future as presented by others? How will telemedicine and eHealth evolve into the future of health, healthcare and society?

Conference aim

  • Inspire those using, designing and developing telemedicine and eHealth services
  • Create mutual understanding of challenges which might lie ahead for all of us
  • Present ongoing and identify future research and development areas
