Philips Expands its uGrow Digital Parenting Platform with the Acquisition of Health & Parenting Ltd
Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in health technology, today announced that it has acquired Health & Parenting Ltd, a leading London-based developer of healthcare and family-related mobile applications for expectant and new parents. Health & Parenting's apps will enhance Philips' uGrow* digital parenting platform and strengthen Philips' offering in pregnancy and parenting.
Roche (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY) and mySugr have signed an agreement under which Roche acquired all shares of mySugr GmbH. The Universitätsklinikum Erlangen, Siemens Healthineers, the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität-Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, and Medical Valley EMN have signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect.
