Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, has expanded its agreement with the Basque Healthcare Service's Osakidetza facilities in Spain to extend its IMPAX Picture and Archiving and Communications System (PACS) to a further 15 sites, in addition to the 28 facilities it currently serves. 
Map of Medicine is now accessible from various health care locations in the Isle of Man, thanks to a new contract with System C Healthcare and the Department of Health and Social Security (DHSS). The highlight this year was the new release of its premium Acuson S2000 ultrasound system featuring significant advancements in ARFI technology (Acoustic Radiation Force Imaging) for the detection and quantification of tissue. 
iPLATO Healthcare, the leader in mobile health announced the launch of mSite - a new module of iPLATO Patient Care Messaging. mSite, provided free of charge to licensed GP surgeries, will enable each surgery to create their own mobile internet site to inform patients about opening hours, contacts details, access maps and out of hours services.
