iSOFT has introduced a new reporting tool giving the 150 NHS trusts using its laboratory information systems the ability to produce detailed management and pathology reports in minutes, after an agreement with business intelligence partner FMI Business Solutions Group. The new Web-based Rapid Analytics module from FMI is for users of iSOFT i.Laboratory and i.Laboratory TP.
Santo Holding (Germany) GmbH of Hexal founders Strüngmann secured a 25 percent share in the eHealth specialist InterComponentWare AG (ICW). This transaction was performed by the purchase of newly issued shares in the context of an increase in capital stock. The present owners of ICW do not surrender any shares in this transaction.
For the first time, certification will take place at the World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the Austria Center in Vienna. WHIT '07 runs from 22-25 October and the exam will be held on the afternoon of the first day. There is a pre-registration deadline of 8 October. Seating is limited and test slots will be filled on a first-in/first-confirmed basis.
