iPLATO, the leader in mHealth and Analytics, announced today that it has enrolled 40 GP practices in its 'beta' service for Friends & Family Testing (FFT) between mid-August and the first week of September. New rules mean that GP practices in England must start capturing patient feedback on their performance, in a similar scheme to that used by Hospitals.

Agfa HealthCare announced that the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust's main hospital - North Devon District Hospital - as well as eight of its community hospitals have replaced their existing digital radiography systems, with Agfa HealthCare CR 30-X and DX-G CR solutions, including MUSICA image processing-enabled workstations and image processing. Carestream has become a sponsor of the MUST Research Project to take place during the 2014 Tor des Géants Endurance Trail Race held between 7-14 September in Italy. Carestream will supply image management and archiving services from its cloud-based Vue PACS platform for the MRI mobile unit to be used by the project's researchers and physiologists, both at the base camp during the race and from scientists' home locations after the race.
