XIRING Announces its Participation at eHealth Week 2011 in Budapest

XIRINGXIRING, a security solutions provider for electronic transactions, will be participating at eHealth Week 2011, the European eHealth community's annual event, to be held in Budapest from May 10 to 12, 2011.

eHealth Week event has become one of the most significant Pan-European platforms in the field of eHealth. eHealth Week 2011 participants will highlight how IT solutions can help the European continent's healthcare systems face their upcoming challenges.

With over 270,000 smartcard secure terminals delivered by the end of 2010 in the eHealth field, XIRING is an indisputable specialist in Europe. Depending on the context, XIRING provides and manages a complete solution (terminal, embedded software, related service) or partners with local experts in their national system, contributing its technological know-how and technical platforms that are specially designed for eHealth uses.

During eHealth Week, XIRING will present three types of solutions adapted for the various uses:

  • Countertop terminals, specifically aimed at pharmacies for e-prescription applications. In France, the Prium-3S is the reference in the pharmacy segment.
  • Autonomous mobile solutions enabling the generation and signature of electronic medical claim forms, for mobile healthcare professionals who make house visits to patients or who work in several medical facilities. The T-Rex was recently introduced in France for nurses; the Xi-Plus 5 has been released in Germany for doctors.
  • USB smartcard readers providing secure access to workstations and confidential medical information. The Leo, Diteo and Liteo contact or contactless smartcard readers are perfectly adapted for hospital use.
