CSC Achieves First Lorenzo Regional Care Release 1.9 Deployment
CSC (NYSE: CSC) has announced that its first deployment of Lorenzo Regional Care Release 1.9 (Care Management) went live on 3rd November 2009. The system was delivered under the NHS National Programme for IT, at NHS Bury. Hundreds of clinical and administrative staff across community services at Bury are now using the system to manage their administrative tasks including booking appointments, recording contacts and managing case notes.

Rudolfstiftung Hospital in Vienna, one of five main hospitals of the Vienna Hospital Association, has installed a second CARESTREAM DRX-1 System following a successful trial during the Summer of 2009. IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Telvent Global Services have entered into a multi-million euro agreement with Castilla y Leon Government to improve management of the province's healthcare centers. The transformation of Castilla y Leon's healthcare centers back office will allow for greater communication among primary care centers, specialized care centers, and emergency and central services allowing the healthcare system to run more efficiently, providing improved care for the local community.
