The event is held during the opening week of Finlandâs EU Presidency in July 2006. The conference aims at bringing experts from the fields of technology, education and training, research, industry and governmental organisations together to discuss the European vision on the role of technology in promoting lifelong learning, innovation and desirable change.
Sixth Research and Development Framework Programme 2002-2006
This booklet presents a compilation of the research projects managed by the ICT for Health Unit of the Information Society and Media Directorate General.The projects are funded under the Sixth Framework Programme for Research Development and Demonstration (FP6). It also explores in brief detail the proposed and potential future directions of the ICT for Health Unit, particularly under the umbrella of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The programme of the 2nd Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF2006) is now available online at www.esof2006.org. Participants can select from over 70 seminars, symposia and workshops taking place during July 15th-19th 2006 at the Forum am Deutschen Museum and the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany. Registration is possible through the official ESOF2006 website as well as on site during the conference.
Participation in the brokerage event is free of charge. Participants are, however requested to register for the ICCHP 2006 CONFERENCE either for the day only or for the full conference duration (see link above). An exception is made for NMS and ACC participants that are interested in the EPIST brokerage only; these participants do not need to register for the ICCHP 2006 CONFERENCE.
