Registration Open for The World of Health IT 2007

Following the successful inaugural The World of Health IT 2006, which was attended by 1750 delegates from 68 countries, a second WHIT conference and exhibition is being organised in response to the growing need for technological solutions in the healthcare IT sector across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. WHIT 2007 will bring together technology users, buyers, vendors, providers and healthcare regulators under one roof to make valuable contacts and share expertise.

The World of Health IT 2007 Conference & Exhibition will focus on the role of health IT on the health sector in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The educational sessions will primarily address the experiences of deployed services, and will focus on proven benefits in quality and efficiency.

Topics to be addressed in the conference include:

  • Integrated Care
  • Emerging Technologies and Healthcare Delivery

Parallel to the Conference & Exhibition, The World of Health IT 2007 will host the IHE Interoperability Showcase, which will focus on: Electronic Health Record (EHR), Personal Health Record (PHR), cardiology, radiology, laboratory, Healthcare Information Systems and Patient Care Devices, among other topics.

In its second year, The World of Health IT 2007 Conference & Exhibition is designed to connect leading health information and communication technology experts from Europe and beyond. The event consists of educational sessions, vendor exhibitions, interoperability demonstrations, exchange of experiences and networking sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

The education programme will focus on the impact of Health IT on the health sector in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The educational sessions will primarily address the experiences of deployed services, and will focus on proven benefits in quality and efficiency.
