Digitalization in the political environment

The German Association of Health IT Vendors - bvitg e. V. will be represented at DMEA 2025 with its own program focus and will address key political decisions for the coming years. In a joint session, gematik and the Federal Ministry of Health will discuss the digitalization strategy 2.0. The COCIR (European Coordination Committee of the Radiology, Electromedicine and Healthcare IT Industry) will provide an insight into European healthcare policy and its impact on the German healthcare system. In their session, Dr Susanne Johna from the Marburger Bund and Matthias Mieves MdB, spokesperson of the SPD parliamentary group for e-health and member of the Health Committee and the Committee for Digital Affairs, will talk about which political decisions will be relevant for the digitalization of the healthcare system in the coming years.
