The first patients were recently enrolled in the FAST III trial at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This officially marked the beginning of a multicenter, randomized-controlled, open-label study in which the outcome of therapy for coronary artery disease is being investigated after fractional flow reserve (FFR) has been determined using different methods.
