Advanced Health & Care (Advanced) has announces extended, mobile functionality for Caresys, the company's widely used care home management software. Caresys Mobile will now be accessible via tablet computers, allowing care workers to evidence care provision at the point of delivery within the care home environment, as they carry out their day-to-day duties. 
Google has announced Google Fit: an open platform for developers to more easily build fitness apps. According to the official blog post, Google Fit provides a single set of APIs for apps and device manufacturers to store and access activity data from fitness apps and sensors on Android and other devices (like wearables, heart rate monitors or connected scales).

Agfa HealthCare's revenue decreased by 10.5 percent. On a currency comparable basis, the decrease amounted to 6.4 percent. A major adverse element was the economic weakness in most of the emerging markets. This particularly affected sales of the Imaging segment's traditional film products. In the segment's digital radiography business (consisting of Computed Radiography, Direct Radiography and the hardcopy business), the DR product range posted very strong sales growth.
