At ECR 2013 Carestream will demonstrate its new lesion management module as a native oncology follow-up application that can be added for its Vue PACS. This lesion management application will be used to perform semi-automatic quantitative comparisons of historical imaging exams on a Vue PACS workstation. At ECR 2013 Carestream will demonstrate a new module that displays digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) exams from DICOM-compliant acquisition devices on its CARESTREAM Vue Mammo Workstation. The workstation also displays traditional mammograms, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and general radiology exams to equip radiologists to work efficiently from a single desktop. Carestream will showcase the latest enhancements to its Vue RIS including the storage and tracking of radiation dose information at ECR 2013. "We are laying the groundwork to support cumulative dose tracking, which is an important patient care initiative worldwide," said Cristine Kao, Carestream's Global Marketing Manager for Healthcare Information Solutions. Carestream will showcase its innovative CS 9300 System, a high-quality cone beam CT (CBCT - 3D imaging) and true panoramic imaging system for ENT and dental indications at the European Congress of Radiology 2013.
