Philips Strengthens Home Healthcare Solutions Business through Agreement with Aerogen
Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in respiratory care, has signed an agreement with Aerogen Ltd, a privately owned respiratory drug delivery company headquartered in Galway, Ireland. The agreement includes a technology license and the acquisition of select assets solely related to Aerogen's home-care business.

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the first NHS OH departments in the UK to go entirely paperless with health care for its employees.
Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. has entered into a master collaboration agreement with Pfizer Inc. to design, develop and commercialize diagnostic tests for therapeutic products across Pfizer's pipeline. Under the agreement, Siemens will be one of Pfizer's collaboration partners to develop and provide in vitro diagnostic tests for use in clinical studies and, potentially, eventual global commercialization with Pfizer products.

Galway University Hospitals is piloting Aura Healthcare’s patient flow solution in a bid to manage winter pressures and bed shortages at the 600-bed hospital. Enda Daly, Galway’s head of bed management, says the main objectives are to avoid patients being left without a bed, while ensuring waiting list targets for inpatient procedures are met.
