HIMSS Europe Pushes eHealth Forward with the Presentation of the Continuity of Care Maturity Model™
With the ultimate goal of holistic individual and population health management, HIMSS Europe has presented today the Continuity of Care Maturity Model™, which addresses the importance of information exchange, care coordination, interoperability, patient engagement and analytics. The purpose is to move one step forward in eHealth in the continent, by supporting and complementing existing EMR models to provide leadership and guidance.
A new model for evaluating the technological capabilities of European health and social care organisations delivering care across the patient journey is to be launched by HIMSS Europe. The new model has received active support from leading global health software provider, Orion Health.
Agfa HealthCare has successfully implemented three of its wireless DX-D 30C Retrofit DR upgrade solutions at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. The solutions were procured through the NHS Supply Chain. An Agfa HealthCare customer for over 7 years, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital and community based healthcare to around 365,000 people living in East Durham, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and surrounding areas and part of Sedgefield.
