The Philips Foundation, CurArte Foundation and Hospital Vall d'Hebrón today announced 'Imatgina', an advanced patient-centric initiative in paediatric radiology that aims to improve the experience children have during diagnostic imaging tests. The goal of the initiative is to enhance the experience for these children by creating a friendly atmosphere that dispels the uncertainty and fear usually associated with these types of procedures.
Carestream has been awarded a RIS solution for two sites in the Region Capital of Denmark. The CARESTREAM Vue RIS solution will replace existing systems at Rigshospitalet, the National University Hospital, based in Blegdamsvej and Glostrup, part of Greater Copenhagen, to enhance radiology workflow. Installation is expected to be completed by the end of 2016. The 1361-bed hospital carries out around 330,000 exams each year.
