Telemedicine Clinic provides advanced diagnostic work for NHS in the UK

Telemedicine Clinic, the leading European provider of radiology reporting services, has been awarded a large contract with the UK public healthcare system for PET/CT reporting services. PET/CT is a new and very advanced radiology examination to detect cancer.

With this contract, Telemedicine Clinic will be the largest PET/CT centre in Europe. Thanks to high case volumes, it will be possible to build up a sub specialised reporting solution with very skilled medical experts.

Telemedicine Clinic expects to sign similar collaboration agreements with public healthcare players in more European countries since many hospitals are now building up PET/CT centres at the same time as there is a huge shortage of doctors experienced within this field.

About Telemedicine Clinic
Telemedicine Clinic provides diagnostic services, training and support to public healthcare providers across the European Union. Current annual reading volumes make Telemedicine Clinic the largest MRI centre in Europe.

Telemedicine Clinic was set-up to meet the increasing demand for medical expertise in many European regions where a scarcity of medical specialists has caused problems in the delivery of healthcare services.

The objective is to establish a more efficient way of centralising and sharing specialist competence by offering cost-effective sub-specialist diagnostic services and training to public care providers that experience difficulties in upholding specialist competence by themselves.
