CGM AG Becomes CGM SE

CompuGroup Medical SEDuring the General Meeting of the company in May 2015, the shareholders have resolved to change the company in to a European Company (Latin Societas Europaea, SE). This resolution is now final and absolute with the registration in the Commercial Register.

With this step, CGM emphasizes its international positioning and consolidation as EU-wide legal entity. At the same time, the new legal form facilitates further expansions of the company as well as border-transcending M&A transactions. The eHealth provider with registered office in Koblenz, Germany has branches in 19 countries and distributes its products in more than 40 countries worldwide.

The supervisory board of CGM SE comprises 6 members, among those 2 employee representatives. Frank Gotthardt, chairman of CGM SE, confirms the change: "CGM has worldwide market shares of up to 70 % of the service providers in the healthcare system. Due to our position in the market and our internationally close cooperation, our customers can rely on the fact that our products are constantly further developed - focusing on the requests of our operators and according to state of the art specifications."

No measures are envisaged or scheduled based on the change which may have a direct effect on the situation of the employees. The employment contracts of the CGM employees and the shareholder rights are unaffected by the change.
