Kerckhoff Klinik in Germany Completes Implementation of iMDsoft's Clinical Information System

iMDsoftiMDsoft announced that Kerckhoff Klinik in Germany has implemented the MetaVision clinical information system across their entire continuum of care. The hospital, which specialises in cardiothoracic, vascular and rheumatic diseases, now uses MetaVision in their OR, ICU, general ward and intermediate care unit, in a total of 317 beds. MetaVision generates complete and accurate electronic medical records, offering minute-by-minute patient data collection and display. Advanced decision support options promote the delivery of best practices, protocols, and regulatory requirements.

When evaluating different systems, Kerckhoff Klinik was impressed by iMDsoft’s extensive experience with heart centres, and by MetaVision's strong support for perfusionist workflow.

Kerckhoff Klinik now has one continuous electronic medical record across the hospital. Clinicians can easily access all the necessary information from one flow sheet throughout the patient's stay. Data continuity means fewer errors during transfer, smoother handovers and carrying over of orders from one department to the next.

"MetaVision is unique in its ability to support both the workflow of complex, data-rich high acuity settings as well as general wards," said Lars-Oluf Nielsen, CEO of iMDsoft. "With proven results for departments with the highest cost, morbidity, and mortality, MetaVision is the ideal fit for hospitals like Kerckhoff Klinik that want specialised functionality as well as data continuity throughout the hospital."
