iMDsoft's Clinical Information System chosen by Uppsala County Council in Sweden

iMDsoftiMDsoft® announced that Uppsala County Council in Sweden chose MetaVision® as the Clinical Information System (CIS) for their high acuity environment county-wide. The project will encompass a total of 235 beds. The system will be implemented in Uppsala University Hospital and Enköping Hospital, in units spanning general, thoracic, neonatal and neuro ICUs, ORs and post anesthesia care units. Uppsala University Hospital, one of the largest university hospitals in Sweden, specializes in neonatal care, thoracic care and neurology. iMDsoft and EVRY, one of the largest healthcare IT solution providers in Sweden, cooperated on this project.

When exploring possible CIS choices, Uppsala County Council was impressed with MetaVision’s ability to offer one integrated record with streamlined clinical documentation throughout their high acuity environment. Further, Uppsala County Council saw the value of MetaVision’s customizability, which enables hospitals to easily and quickly tailor the system to meet their clinical and operational needs. Clinicians can configure the system in accordance with how they work and incorporate new processes at any point.

MetaVision generates comprehensive, accurate, and actionable electronic medical records, offering minute-by-minute patient information collection and display. Using MetaVision’s advanced decision support and analysis tools, Uppsala County Council will be able to enforce clinical and administrative protocols, easily create reports for populating national databases and continually identify opportunities for increased patient safety.
