Advanced Health & Care is Finalist in Health Service Journal Efficiency Awards

Advanced Health & CareAdvanced Health & Care (Advanced), a leading provider of IT management systems for the health and care sectors is a finalist in the 'Efficiency in IT' category of the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Efficiency Awards 2012. The winner will be announced during an awards ceremony at the London Lancaster Hotel, Park Lane on 25 September 2012.

The HSJ Efficiency Awards recognise and reward organisations which have achieved or have helped to achieve exceptional cost savings and efficiencies within the health sector, without sacrificing high standards of patient care.

Advanced has been shortlisted for its iNurse solution. This leading mobile patient management system enables community clinicians to record and communicate patient care information using Smartphones and tablet technology at the point of care. iNurse improves productivity through reduced paperwork and travel time. By delivering timely patient care information, it also helps clinicians to deliver the right care at the right time.

Jim Chase, Managing Director of Advanced Health & Care says, "We are very pleased to have reached the final of these prestigious awards. iNurse has become the mobile solution of choice for community clinicians because it is quick to deploy, easy to use and delivers huge efficiency savings, enabling clinicians to see more patients without compromising quality of care. Put simply, iNurse is transforming mobile working within the health sector."

The introduction of iNurse at Medway Community Healthcare across the unscheduled care service and at Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust urgent care services has helped both organisations achieve massive time savings, improve clinical care and enhance staff safety.

Health Service Journal Editor, Alastair McLellan says: "The judging panel and I were pleased to see the quantity and quality of the entries and initiatives increasing; proving that efficiency lies at the heart of today's health service.

These finalists have demonstrated exceptional cost savings and efficiencies, without sacrificing impeccably high standards of patient care. Well done to all those who have made the shortlist."

Advanced Health & Care is part of Advanced Computer Software Group. The group saw a 200% rise in number of mobile users in the last financial year and is continuing to invest heavily in its mobile solutions.
