Agfa HealthCare Chooses ETIAM for Normalization of Multispecialty Images and Documents

ETIAMETIAM has entered into a global distribution agreement with Agfa HealthCare for its medical integration solution: DICOM Izer. ETIAM's solutions allow for the capture and connectivity of multimedia data to the enterprise archive and Electronic Medical Records. The applications make it possible for documents, images, video, reports, and other clinical information to be digitally stored in Agfa HealthCare's Enterprise Medical Imaging Repository, IMPAX® Data Center.

ETIAM's solutions allow a wide range of data and devices from several sources such as digital cameras, scanners, digitizers, endoscopes, microscopes, digital files and software applications to "connect" to the central archive and use a common archiving and distribution workflow for all departments within the institution.

Because no equipment, no treatment, and no process is identical across departments, this suite of integration tools is made of several modules that seamlessly bridge EMR, clinical systems, and the Archive repository.

ETIAM's solutions provide media content integration to the IT infrastructure as an integral part of the procedure. The Agfa HealthCare IMPAX® family of products will then provide storage, archive and distribution of multi-departmental clinical imaging data to all caregivers at the point of care. Customers will save time and money and improve the delivery of care because of a unified clinical infrastructure.

"We are very excited to start this relationship with Agfa HealthCare because we bring not only a solution but a complete clinical integration service," said Jérôme Champetier de Ribes, CEO of ETIAM.
