VIGOR++ Workshop 'New Diagnostic Tools for Bowel Diseases'
This workshop will explore advances in the integration of clinical data and MRI image analysis, classification and visualisation within the concept of the Virtual Physiological Human. These are enabling the development of a multi-scale, personalized GI tract model-based diagnostic tool deployable on a cloud computing platform.
Ian de Vega from the Medical Research Council in South Africa fought off fierce competition to take home the coveted IT @ 2012 Trophy and cash prize at the IT @ Networking Awards 2012.
