CPHIMS exams to be held for first time at WHIT 2007

For the first time, certification will take place at the World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the Austria Center in Vienna. WHIT '07 runs from 22-25 October and the exam will be held on the afternoon of the first day. There is a pre-registration deadline of 8 October. Seating is limited and test slots will be filled on a first-in/first-confirmed basis.

The Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) programme is dedicated to promoting healthcare information and management systems by providing professional standards.

The CPHIMS programme has created a fair, valid, and reliable examination process by which professionals can demonstrate their knowledge and skill.

The organisation awards certification to those who meet its standards, while communicating the value of the certification programme to consumers and other key stakeholders.

As the healthcare information and management systems field continues to grow, organisations will continue to seek credentialed professionals for leadership roles. Through CPHIMS certification, candidates can set themselves apart, while demonstrating their expertise, commitment and credibility.

Once the certification is over, there's plenty to keep the healthcare professional’s interest. Following on from the success of last year's inaugural WHIT conference in Geneva, the organisers have built on its popularity and effectiveness and brought all the key elements together in Vienna.

WHIT will once again be the forum for all professionals connected with healthcare IT in the EMEA region, and has attracted speakers of the highest calibre plus more than 50 cutting-edge exhibitors.
