The Information Day on eHealth Research and Development - Greece

The Information Day on eHealth Research and Development will be organised by the Research Academic Computer Technology Institute (RA-CTI) in its facilities in the University Campus of the city of Patras, Greece the 4th of May 2007.

Gathering top level experts and executives from Research Institutions, Industry and practitioners in the field of eHealth, from Greece and SE Europe, it is bound to be the prime event on eHealth related issues in this area.

The objective is to identify the State of the Art in eHealth R&D as well as the related priorities in the 7th Framework Program (FP7) and the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) calls and activities.

To that end, Mr Gerard Comyn, Head of Unit H1 – "ICT for Health", DG Information Society and Media, will deliver a key note speech and will discuss the Commission views with participants.

In addition top level experts and key players will present their own views, perceptions and strategic insight on these issues as well as discuss together the potential of specific collaborations towards the preparations of proposals aimed at the upcoming calls.
