International Digital Health and Care Congress

10 - 12 September 2014, London, UK.
The International Digital Health and Care Congress is a three-day event which brings together researchers, policy makers, practitioners and innovators from all over the world to explore how the innovative use of technology is supporting improvements in the care of people with long-term conditions and other health and social care needs.

The congress is now in its fourth successful year and traditionally sells out fast, attracting more than 500 international delegates who come to hear about the design and application of new technologies; share experiences; and showcase new ideas, research and innovations in digital health, mobile health, telehealth and telecare.

The congress will cover 3 days:

Wednesday 10 September 2014
A pre-congress seminar looking at the latest research and evaluation methodologies and considerations aimed at academics. This is a standalone event for academics and others involved in the evaluation of digital health and care programmes who may not necessarily attend the full congress.

Thursday 11 September and Friday 12 September 2014
Both days will have plenary sessions and breakouts focusing on the advancements and benefits of digital health and care aimed at NHS and local authority commissioners and long-term conditions clinical leads, programme leads and commercial and third sector providers as well as residential and domestic care managers.

Breakout sessions
Breakout speakers and some plenary speakers will be selected through the abstract process. Speakers will be allocated 20 minutes to present their research.

Poster presentation
The congress will also feature a poster exhibition with time built into the conference agenda for poster presenters to defend their findings to the full congress. Poster presenters will only be allowed 3 minutes each as part of a special session in the main programme.
