Registration is Open for the Largest pan-European eHealth Conference & Exhibition

eHealth week 201110 - 12 May 2011, Budapest, Hungary.
The Hungarian Presidency of the EU is preparing to host the largest pan-European eHealth conference: eHealth week 2011 - which will focus on achieving maximum benefit in an age of austerity.

  • How can Healthcare IT solutions solve future obstacles of limited human and financial resources?

  • What are the most successful European National; Regional and Urban eHealth solutions and are these sustainable in the future?

    The largest private-public partnership in life sciences will hold its second Stakeholders' Forum meeting at ehealth week . The event is open for its existing stakeholders as well as others who are interested in IMI's €2 billion pan-European collaborative research programme. Everyone is welcome to join the meeting and can use this opportunity to find out about the latest IMI projects and activities to hear how IMI is using e-technology to support knowledge management.   • Netc@rds, Tuesday, 10 May
    One of the pioneer initiatives launched at EU level aimed at providing impulse to the implementation of a technical infrastructure to facilitate unplanned medical treatment of EU citizens, who provide evidence of entitlement, outside their home Country. In the mature stage of the initial deployment phase, the NETC@RDS project results are presented for the consideration of the European and national healthcare communities with the aim of contributing to advance in the field of ICT solutions for cross-border healthcare services.   • EuMHA, Tuesday, 10 May
    The European MHealth Alliance (EuMHA) is an initiative designed to support and promote the wider adoption of healthcare and wellbeing products, services, applications and innovation across Europe. EuMHA is a non-profit organisation concentrates on the economic development of the MHealth sector. EuMHA provides a unique partnership of organisations, companies and government bodies. EuMHA will host a session open to all ehealth week 2011 delegates. (Complimentary)
  • IHE / Project HITCH, Tuesday, 10 May
    This session presents the results of the EC-funded HITCH project that provides a roadmap for establishing an encompassing Quality Management System for eHealth interoperability and conformance testing in Europe. The presentation will summarize the results achieved by the project to date: It will describe the status, challenges and benefits of eHealth interoperability and conformance testing in Europe, will explain the characteristics of existing testing approaches and testing tools and will introduce the vision of a common European Quality Management and Labeling System for eHealth.   • Active & Healthy Aging, Tuesday, 10 May
    The objective of the workshop is to stimulate interaction and discussion on possible areas of activity under the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing. This will be done on the basis of existing cases of successful innovation and the aim should be to collect further input from stakeholders as well as possible commitments for joint activities to be pursued within the partnership.
  • Regional eHealth Forum, Tuesday, 10 May
    The objective of the workshop is to share experiences and best practice on implementing eHealth services at Regional level. Regional eHealth cases are expected to be presented and discussed in depth. The final objective is to draw some general conclusions on how to implement eHealth with success.
