Research without borders, Australia

A conference entitled "Research without borders" will be hosted by FEAST, the Forum for European-Australian science and technology cooperation, in Canberra, Australia, on 28 and 29 November.

The event will address:

  • Australian and European international research policy;
  • strategies for collaboration: visions;
  • - strategies for collaboration: infrastructures, facilities and instruments;
  • reforming research systems and driving innovation;
  • science of the future.

The conference is intended to engage strongly with the different research communities in Australia and Europe, linking the hard sciences, humanities and social sciences. It will also kick off the engagement of Australian researchers in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
