One of the first pathology networks in the country, set up to serve more than two million people in south west London, has signed a contract with CliniSys for a new laboratory information management system (LIMS). South West London Pathology, which was established in 2014, is now working with the company to prepare to deploy WinPath Enterprise. 
The cloud-based platform "teamplay"(1) by Siemens Healthineers, together with its applications teamplay Dose, teamplay Usage, teamplay Protocols, teamplay Images, and teamplay Images Research, has been awarded the European Privacy Seal (EuroPriSe). The European Privacy Seal was first granted to teamplay in 2016, and must be regularly renewed. Siemens Healthineers, University of Missouri System (UM System) and University of Missouri Health Care (MU Health Care) launch "Alliance for Precision Health." The ten-year collaboration will bring the partners' expertise together to improve health care in Missouri State, promote education and launch research initiatives. 
Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in health technology, and Centre Hospitalier Régional Universitaire (CHRU) de Nancy, a leading academic hospital in the Grand Est region of France, announced a 10-year agreement to implement Philips' IntelliSpace Enterprise Imaging Solution, including Illumeo with adaptive intelligence. 
MedTech Europe released today a call to action towards digital health interoperability, endorsing the European Commission's Electronic Health Record Exchange Format released on 6 February 2019.
