Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, launched its advanced IMPAX HeartStation solution for ECG analysis in Europe at the European Society of Cardiology's (ESC) annual congress in Stockholm, Sweden. Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, has signed an agreement with TomTec, active in the sector of echocardiography image analysis, reporting and data management, for the integration of its Image-Arena solution into the company's IMPAX Cardiovascular Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Performing markedly better than in the first months of this year, Agfa HealthCare booked a slight revenue increase of 0.3 percent (a decrease of 3.7 percent excluding currency effects) compared to the second quarter of 2009. The traditional imaging products continued their market-driven decline.
