Leading healthcare IT supplier IMS MAXIMS has announced a major new investor, laying the foundations for future growth. Thomas Anderson, who has taken full ownership of the company, and CEO Shane Tickell, have now outlined their ambitions to build IMS MAXIMS into a substantial force in international healthcare IT. 
Agfa HealthCare announced that its ORBIS solution will replace the existing HIS/CIS (Hospital Information System/Clinical Information System) in the Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe, Germany.
