Webinar on the Draft eHealth Standards Mandate Report

CEN, CENELEC, and ETSI, the three European Standards Organizations (ESOs) announce the launch of the joint project eHEALTH-INTEROP, which will address the requirements of the European Commission mandate on standardization in the field of eHealth. The project team invites all stakeholders to a Webinar on Thursday the 2nd of October 2008 from 15.00 till 16.30 CET on the draft eHealth Standards Mandate report recently issued for public comment until October 22nd.

New RIS Module Enables GPs to Directly Book Patient X-ray Exams

Carestream Health and the San Salvatore Hospital in the Province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo Region of Italy, are developing a module for the KODAK CARESTREAM Radiology Information System (RIS) that allows General Practitioners (GPs) within the region to directly book digital X-ray examinations for their patients and receive the results back on their PC.
