Nij Smellinghe Hospital in The Netherlands Chooses Remote Archiving from Carestream Health

Nij Smellinghe Hospital in Drachten, The Netherlands, has selected Hosted Information Management (HIM) service from Carestream Health to remotely archive existing and future patient data. Under a contract between the companies, which runs for five years, the HIM service will securely store an estimated 9 Terabytes of both DICOM and non-DICOM images in a central data centre, from which authorised users can archive, share and distribute patient data.
