Luxembourg Ministry of Health eHealth Service Platform Study

This report analyses the opportunities for Luxembourg to implement an interoperability platform for electronic health services and provides recommendations for this platform as well as for related preliminary decisions to be taken. Milton Keynes Pioneers Integrated Telehealth and Telecare Support for People with Long Term Conditions

Milton Keynes Council and Milton Keynes Community Health Services (PCT) are working with leading provider Tunstall Healthcare to provide integrated telehealthcare support to local people living with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Results show that 79% of end users and 88% of carers experienced major benefits from taking part in the programme, and 168 hospital admissions and 85 GP visits were avoided.
