Agfa HealthCare has successfully implemented its DX-D Retrofit direct radiography (DR) upgrade solution at two hospitals; The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. An Agfa HealthCare customer for over 26 years, The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides healthcare for the residents of Bournemouth, Christchurch, East Dorset and part of the New Forest with a total population of around 550,000, which rises during the summer months.

Carestream Health in France has been selected to provide shared PACS and RIS services and teleradiology support in the Midi-Pyrénées region. Asklepios Kliniken Verwaltungsgesellschaft (AKV), which represents more than 50% of the turnover of the Asklepios group, the largest private hospital group in Germany, has chosen Agfa HealthCare's ORBIS as the standard hospital information system (HIS) for 43 clinics. In addition, all 43 clinics will use ORBIS RIS as their radiology information system of choice. The implementation of the project will start in 2014.
