ISfTeHThe International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), the South African Medical Research Council, the South African Department of Health and the Presidential National Commission (PNC), are proud to announce that the 11th ISfTeH International Conference will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 26 to 29 November 2006.

A conference entitled "Research without borders" will be hosted by FEAST, the Forum for European-Australian science and technology cooperation, in Canberra, Australia, on 28 and 29 November.

The World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition promises to be a first of its kind event, attracting leaders and experts in health IT from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

On 12 September, Singleimage will hold a workshop on the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) in Cambridge, UK.

First Calls for proposals under the EU's FP7 are expected at the end of 2006. Technical scope, participation rules and administrative procedures are all currently under discussion and negotiation between the Commission, the European Parliament and the EU Member States.
