Association for Ukrainian Telemedicine and eHealth Development (National Member of International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth) presents the 1st International Conference "Telemedicine: myths and reality" which will be held on 8-9 November 2007 in Lviv, Ukraine.

Exceptional performances in Europe's healthcare industry were recognised at Frost & Sullivan's prestigious Excellence in Healthcare Awards Banquet held in Dublin yesterday evening. Awardees were drawn from diverse fields ranging from homecare, telecardiology, point-of-care testing and image enhancement technologies to minimally invasive devices, bone densitometry systems, vascular devices and computer-aided detection markets.

eAbilities Workshop - a virtual platform to advance the exploitation of resources in the area of Assistive Technology and Accessibility. For the first time, certification will take place at the World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the Austria Center in Vienna. WHIT '07 runs from 22-25 October and the exam will be held on the afternoon of the first day. There is a pre-registration deadline of 8 October. Seating is limited and test slots will be filled on a first-in/first-confirmed basis.

Following on from the success of last year's inaugural World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition (WHIT) in Geneva, the organisers have built on that event's popularity and effectiveness to put together this year's conference at the Austria Center in Vienna, Austria, from 22–25 October 2007.

The World of Health IT (WHIT) conference and exhibition takes place in Vienna from 22-25 October, focusing on the key topic of the impact of technology on healthcare delivery. Central to the whole event will be the involvement of stakeholders, via three satellite symposia.
