PHTS Telemedizin Provides Telemedicine Solutions
SHL Telemedicine Ltd. (SWX:SHLTN), a leading provider and developer of advanced personal telemedicine solutions, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned German subsidiary PHTS Telemedizin is part of an integrated care services contract in the state of Schleswig-Holstein whereby family doctors, physicians and hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein will refer patients of public
health insurance companies IKK Nord and IKK-Direkt suffering from chronic heart illnesses to PHTS Telemedizin for the reception of telemedicine services. 
Petra Wilson, a Director for Public Sector Healthcare in Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), has been elected Chair of the HIMSS EMEA Governing Council. Christopher Nolan from the Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland is appointed Vice Chair. Both were unanimously elected by the HIMSS EMEA Governing Council on 2 July 2007, and will serve for one year, until 30 June 2008.

Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics announced the availability of its Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) test, the first CE-marked, standardized non-invasive blood test for assessing the status of liver fibrosis.
