Carestream Health has been awarded the contract to supply 5 DRX-Revolution mobile units to the new Royal London Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust in London, which first opened its doors to the public in December 2011. Delivery is scheduled for June 2012 when the DRX-Revolution becomes available worldwide. 
Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) has announced the selection of Orion Health Limited, a leading global supplier of e-Health software, to provide a clinical portal-based Electronic Care Record (ECR) for Northern Ireland. 
Anoto, creators of digital pen and paper technology, and DevelopIQ, Anoto Platinum Solution Provider, announced that the Gwent Consortium - comprising Aneurin Bevan Health Board (ABHB) and the five local authorities - has deployed an electronic data capture system implemented by DevelopIQ; giving them the potential to save over £600,000 per annum. Carestream Health has appointed Tromp Medical as Business Partner to act as distributor of Carestream Digital Capture Products covering sales and service across the Netherlands. The agreement will take effect from 1st May 2012. 
The Hospital de Dénia is the first Spanish hospital, and the second one in Europe, achieving Stage 7 of the HIMSS, the highest certification on implementing its electronic medical record; crediting it as one hundred percent digital. 
InterSystems has announced the signing of its first framework contract in France, which is for the implementation of its TrakCare Healthcare Information System within the Hospital Group of the Catholic Institute of Lille (GHICL).
