GPs in Newham, London have freed up to half a day each week for patient care and are driving up clinical standards since their clinical commissioning group (CCG) switched to EMIS Web. One hundred per cent of practices in Newham CCG - 62 in total - have now moved to EMIS Web and are realising the benefits through reduced administration and increased interoperability with the local healthcare community.

Following a European-wide tender process, University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium, has ordered a number of digital radiography solutions from Carestream Health to help enhance patient care. The order includes three CARESTREAM DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray Systems, one with the new smaller format CARESTREAM DRX 2530C Detector designed to fit into paediatric incubator trays plus a dual detector CARESTREAM DRX-Evolution for general use in the Radiology department, all supported by a seven year managed service contract.
