iSOFT Enters Business Intelligence Market

iSOFT Group LimitediSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) has entered the business intelligence (BI) market with the launch of iSOFT Health Intelligence at EHI Live, 8-9 November, NEC Birmingham.

In today's market, healthcare providers need smart solutions to consolidate and analyse information meaningfully and so drive business performance and improve patient care.

The iSOFT Health Intelligence solution is an innovative, modular BI application. The first module is developed specifically to satisfy a secondary care trust's reporting requirements and represents the first step in a modular journey to a single enterprise business intelligence platform.

The solution links to iSOFT's patient administration systems, via a range of connectors, to extract meaningful data to support business decisions. Bespoke connectors for third party systems are also available.

Adrian Stevens, iSOFT Managing Director UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Nordic Countries North Europe Region, said: "Business intelligence is essential for healthcare providers and is becoming ever more important in the current climate, with NHS organisations coming under increasing pressure to make efficiency savings, while having to improve patient outcomes and quality measures.
