iPLATO Expanding mHealth Reach Across NHS

iPLATO HealthcareiPLATO Healthcare is launching its mHealth infrastructure across two areas - one PBC in the North of England and a PCT in the South. Through up to 60 GP surgeries adopting iPLATO Patient Care Messaging over 350,000 patients will get access to a range of popular mHealth services. Following iPLATO's tried and tested service launch methodology the infrastructure will be available for the start of the flu season at the end of September enabling personalised and immediate engagement with more than 100,000 'at risk' patients.

"A regional or local population-wide approach to integrated mHealth has proven superior to the patchwork of services driven by individual surgeries, community services, hospitals and public health teams" says Tobias Alpsten, Managing Director of iPLATO Healthcare. "The approach that iPLATO has always championed presents enormous benefits in the implementation of informed consent as well as the optimisation of local patient pathways and public health programmes. We are delighted to add two new regional mHealth innovation partners from different parts of the country."
