InterSystems wins European Hospital Information System Customer Value Leadership Award

InterSystems CorporationInterSystems Corporation announced that its commitment to customer satisfaction and support has been recognised through a prestigious 2009 European Hospital Information System Customer Value Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan.

The award was presented to InterSystems Corporation for "demonstrating high levels of customer satisfaction and increasing customer loyalty and retention through its enhanced product offering and customer service".

Presenting the award, Konstantinos Nikolopoulos, Programme Leader, Frost & Sullivan, said, "InterSystems' allegiance to its customers has been instrumental in the company's success in the highly competitive healthcare IT market. InterSystems has also topped recent industry surveys on cost effectiveness, vendor executive involvement, job performance improvement, product quality rating and on-time implementation within budget."

On receiving the award, Phil Birchall, InterSystems Healthcare Business Development Director, said, "We are delighted to receive this award, as it recognises our commitment to being a valued technology partner for our healthcare customers."

In recent months, InterSystems announced that its HealthShare platform for regional and national health information exchange played a major role in the successful completion of the first stage of the Swedish National Patient Overview (NPÖ) project. In addition, InterSystems TrakCare, a connected healthcare information system, will be used by the Jersey Health and Social Services Department to facilitate the creation of an island-wide Integrated Care Record supporting its acute, community, mental health and social care services.

At the Frost & Sullivan award ceremony, JAC Medicines Management, one of InterSystems' market-leading healthcare application partners, was presented with the 2009 European e-Prescription Systems Technology Innovation Award for continuously innovating and upgrading individual disciplines of e-prescription technology.
