FICHe Finalist Startups at Health 2.0 Europe

FICHeThe EU-funded FICHe accelerator is joining Health 2.0 Euope 2016 as a pavilion exhibitor. All 20 FICHe finalist will show their demo at the exhibition floor, some of them will pitch in front of investors, others will present on the main stage. Andiamo is a small team with big ambitions. We are building new healthcare solutions that will provide any person, across the globe, with the medical devices they need in less than a week. Our first challenge: Children’s Orthotics. Using 3D scanning and printing tech, we can measure and produce an orthosis in 48 hours. Shorter wait times will lead to a better outcome for the child and NHS.

We're moving away from the times when surgeons just eye-ball your x-ray before they pick up their scalpel and start working. Clinical Graphics is the logical answer. We use software to analyze CT and MR scans of patients and provide surgery plans that are more accurate and more reproducible than what the best surgeon can come up with. Medbravo is a comprehensive digital solution for efficient collaborative clinical research on cancer. We have the technology needed to network hospitals, health professionals, and research personnel to streamline the referrals of cancer patients to clinical trials. Medbravo improves collaboration of health professionals, research personnel and hospitals on cancer clinical research. About FICHe
FICHe provides companies with the overall funding of EUR 6.24 million for developing eHealth applications and creating sustainable business models. Funding will be distributed through a three-step process. In the first stage, companies will receive 15 000 euro for business model development. In the next phase, 40 out of the 80 companies will receive 50 000 euro for proof-of-concept. The third phase entering 20 out of the 40 companies will receive additionally 152 000 euro for working prototype development. At best, companies are therefore offered up to 217 000 euros funding.

FICHe is co-funded under the European Union's Programme for research, technological development and demonstration. Project partners are University of Oulu, Business Oulu, TIC BioMed, FFIS de la region de Murcia, TNO, Amsterdam Economic Board, Stichting zorgInc., Dutch eHealth Fund Management BV and Stichting Digitalezorg.nl.
