A major challenge for the coming years is to address the unique ICT aspects of the life sciences in an integrated way. Life science research present the need to access, analyse, protect & share massive quantities of diverse, geographically distributed information, computationally intensive analysis techniques and rapidly evolving medicine, science & technology.

HealthGrid 2007 is the fifth annual conference dedicated to grids for life science and healthcare. The goal of the conference is to give an opportunity to all stakeholders to review the status of the grid technology and to evaluate the progress made in the development and deployment of grid applications for life sciences, medical research and healthcare.

If Health Informatics is to meet the challenges and advance its role, it must publicise new solutions and creative ideas. YOU are invited to contribute to this body of knowledge and/or submit a proposal or topic that you believe HC2007 should feature in its programme.
