Innovation in the eHealth Industry at World of Health IT

World of Health IT 08 Conference & ExhibitionTop executives from some of the world's leading vendor organisations will debate the state of innovation in the eHealth industry at World of Health IT, which is being held in Copenhagen on November 4-6. This will take place at the 2008 Strategies and Visions of Industry Leaders session, which will draw on the experiences of some of Europe's leading technology executives offering insight into how the industry views the future development of the European eHealth marketplace.

Interoperability Takes Centre Stage at WoHIT
Also attending and speaking at WoHIT, will be the architects of Europe's ambitious three-year pilot project: European Patient Smart Open Services (epSOS), which will involve 12 EU countries.

Presenting the latest strategies and developments regarding interoperability in the European healthcare market will be: Viviane Reding, European Commissioner, DG Information Society and Media; and Karin Johansson, State Secretary to the Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Sweden.

This year's World of Health IT offers delegates the chance to obtain up to 15 European external CME credits, as set out by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
