Physicians IT: WoHIT 2008 Pre-Conference Symposium

World of Health IT 08 Conference & ExhibitionDelegates attending The World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition can make the most of their time in Copenhagen by attending the Physicians' IT Symposium, one of three targeted pre-conference symposia on Monday, 3 November.

The Physicians' IT Symposium will address IT as a foundation for innovation and expansion of care with a main focus on Personal Health Records (PHRs) and patient safety. Hear the challenges and successes of PHR implementation in a large healthcare system and a small physician practice with legal and government perspectives addressing patient safety concerns.

Attendees have the unique opportunity to observe a simulation demonstration at the Danish Institute for Medical Simulation and observe a health IT system in the IT Exploratorium including a CPOE medication system and surgery scheduling system.
