Carestream to Exhibit at Medica 2016

CarestreamCarestream will return to the Medica trade fair in Düsseldorf this year to present its latest digital imaging developments on booth number 10E65 in Hall 10. Medica will take place from 14 - 17 November. It is the world's leading trade fair for the medical industry, with over 130,000 visitors from more than 120 countries expected to attend. It provides an excellent opportunity for those attending to learn more about current and future trends in patient care. Imaging is one of the key trend topics at this year’s fair and visitors to the Carestream booth will be able to learn more about the company’s solutions in this area.

The company launched a number of innovations recently, which include the revolutionary Carestream OnSight 3D Extremity System and the Carestream Touch Ultrasound System. Thanks to its wide-opening door and easy, step-in patient access, the Onsight 3D Extremity System allows upper and weight-bearing lower extremity exams not possible with traditional CT. It also has a smaller footprint than conventional systems, meaning it can be installed in more practical locations. Patients can be examined easily, with minimal inconvenience and reduced exposure. In turn, the Touch Ultrasound System features a sealed, all-touch control panel that combines the speed and flexibility of a soft user interface with the tactile feedback of traditional keys. Sonographers can configure the sleek, modern control panel to suit their personal working preferences, increasing their efficiency and reducing the time patients are required to undergo examinations.

"Medica is a key event for the medical industry and Carestream is delighted to be attending for the second consecutive year. Delegates are welcome to visit the Carestream booth and discuss their requirements with us," said Willem Christiaan Viljoen, General Manager Carestream Health (Near East).
