Carestream Touch Ultrasound System Shown for First Time in France

CarestreamThe Journées Françaises de Radiologie (JFR) is one of the major meeting places for radiology professionals in Europe, Africa, the Near and Middle East. At this year's exhibition, to be held in Paris from October 16 - 19, Carestream will be showcasing the newest innovations to its portfolio on stand No. 1T01. Attended by around 18,000 delegates each year, JFR continues to gather together all the significant players in healthcare who take part in numerous scientific conferences and the impressive technical exhibition.

Under the overall theme 'At Carestream innovation never stops', Carestream will introduce its new ultrasound system - CARESTREAM Touch Ultrasound System - for the first time in France. Carestream Touch is designed to include, within its All-touch control panel, several unique capabilities that can help enhance image quality and make the medical imaging process faster and easier for hospital staff and patients.

Other new products to be introduced on the Carestream booth include CARESTREAM DRX Excel Plus, which combines both fluoroscopy and general radiology capabilities in one compact unit, delivering accelerated workflow, high-resolution images and a wide range of exams; CARESTREAM DRX Evolution Plus which delivers a full range of new features and options that make it more powerful, more dependable and more affordable than ever, and CARESTREAM DRX Motion Mobile, a highly economical bridge between analogue, CR and DR imaging that is small, lightweight, and easy to use. Carestream’s Clinical Collaboration Platform (CCP), designed to increase collaboration between clinicians by breaking down barriers between ancillary departments, sites and networks and providing physicians with a single view of patient imaging records, will be on show, together with a new patient portal, which includes an online booking website, that will also be launched at JFR.

"We are very pleased to be taking part in Journées Françaises de Radiologie and to be presenting our customers with the latest innovations in medical technology. It is also a valuable opportunity for dialogue with our current and future customers," said Patrick Koch, Western Europe Cluster General Manager, Carestream Health.
