Jianqing Bennett Named President of Digital Medical Solutions at Carestream Health

CarestreamJianqing Bennett has been appointed President of Carestream's Digital Medical Solutions business unit effective immediately. In this role, she will lead a global business comprised of healthcare information solutions and X-ray & ultrasound imaging systems, and will have responsibility for research and development, manufacturing, marketing, sales and service. Bennett will remain a member of the company's senior executive leadership team.

"As the head of Carestream's global X-ray systems business segment, Jianqing introduced many innovative new products and led Carestream to the number one position in digital projection X-ray. As the leader of Carestream's global medical sales and service, she enhanced Carestream's customer focus and oversaw improvements to our customer experience. I’m confident that Jianqing will continue and strengthen our focus on delivering meaningful innovation and an outstanding customer experience."

Most recently, Bennett was Vice President, Global Medical Sales, where she was responsible for leading the worldwide sales organization for the company's expanding portfolio of medical imaging and healthcare IT systems. While leading Carestream's X-ray systems segment, she was responsible for several initiatives including the development and introduction of Carestream's flagship wireless DRX digital X-ray platform.

Earlier during her career with General Electric, Bennett held positions of increasing responsibility - in both the United States and China - in sales, global eBusiness operations, clinical development and radiography product commercialization.

Bennett holds an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa, Henry B. Tippie School of Management, and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Fudan University School of Medical Sciences, Shanghai, China.

Bennett and her family reside in Mendon, N.Y.
